Scottish League (Canada Cup)   Bridge of Weir 1   Mohawks 0

"In a thrilling encounter at the Scottish Ice Rink, Crossmyloof last night, Bridge of Weir, the unbeaten league leaders, defeated Mohawks by one goal to nothing.

Bridge of Weir raided often and dangerously in the first period but W G Lennox in the Mohawks goal was at his best and kept out many dangerous shots. He was however powerless to deal with R E Muirhead's shot late in the first period after the young Bridge of Weir attacker had out-manoeuvred the Mohawk's defence.

A N McPhie, in the opposing goal, also got plenty to do but the shooting of A R Brady though on the mark was delivered from too long range to cause the goaltender much anxiety. J Fullerton came nearest to scoring for Mohawks when in the second period he cut clear of everyone but when on the point of shooting, overbalanced.

Mohawks tried their utmost in the closing period but Brady persistently shot from long range and there was more danger in the few raids of G D Rowley and R E Muirhead."
