President's Pucks Tournament   Bridge of Weir 0   Mohawks 1

"Mohawks won their way into the final of the President's Pucks competition at the Scottish Ice Rink, Crossmyloof, Glasgow last night when they defeated Bridge of Weir in a semi-final tie. The Mohawks were the more aggressive team and they might have won by a greater margin if they had taken reasonable care with their finishing efforts.

W G McDonald had a good effort for Bridge of Weir and W McLachlan made a grand save from W S McLeod at the start of the second period with McDonald close by. A Ross made a splendid save from J Fullerton right in front of goal. McLachlan made a good save from R E Muirhead and then again from the same player while the Mohawks defence was badly out of position.

Bridge of Weir commenced the third period with only four players on the ice and McLachlan had a clever save from A F Reid. J Fullerton scored for Mohawks after his brother had opened up a movement. Many players were sent to the boards during the course of the game and Mohawks had only four players on the ice near the end of the period."
